This Shortcut Creates a ChatGPT-Powered Siri That Can Finally Answer Your Questions (GIZMODO)

Apple’s voice assistant, Siri, can now be transformed into an AI-powered assistant using a shortcut created by developer Yue Yang. To use ChatGPT through Siri, you need an active account with OpenAI and an API key. Once you have access to the API key, you can download the latest version of the shortcut from Yue Yang’s GitHub page. Then, you can use Siri to talk to ChatGPT and even configure specific commands for the AI chatbot. The shortcut only works in English, and all of ChatGPT’s functionalities can be accessed through Siri.

Visual ChatGPT brings AI image generation to the popular chatbot (DATACONOMY)

Microsoft has developed a new AI model called Visual ChatGPT that combines ChatGPT and visual foundation models (VFMs) like Transformers, ControlNet, and Stable Diffusion. The model enables users to communicate with ChatGPT in ways that go beyond words, and generate and receive images in addition to text. The researchers discovered that Visual ChatGPT facilitates investigation of ChatGPT’s visual capabilities using visual foundation models. However, they also observed some problems, such as inconsistent generating outcomes caused by the failure of visual foundation models and the diversity of prompts. To use Visual ChatGPT, you need to run the demo on your PC and give it a prompt. Read more at dataconomy.

botified bits: AI tips and tricks

The Tweet Hack Using AI

Large language models are pretty good at coming up with creative Tweets. Here is a hack to ensure you are engaging your Twitter audience consistently.

Start with this prompt: Generate a series of 5 tweets about [your topic]. Make the tweets thought provoking. Ask a question within the tweet. Be creative.

I used this: Generate a series of 5 tweets about AI. They can be about business, productivity, efficiency, making money, etc. Make the tweets thought provoking. Ask a question within the tweet. Be creative.

Below is the output the AI model gave:

  1. How will AI shape the future of remote work? Will it make it more efficient or replace human workers altogether? #AI #remotework
  2. Can AI be used to help businesses make better decisions? How can we ensure it doesn’t reinforce biases? #AI #business
  3. Will AI be the key to unlocking true productivity in the workplace? Or will it lead to burnout and over-reliance? #AI #productivity
  4. Is it possible to make money off of AI without compromising ethics? How can we leverage its power for good? #AI #ethics
  5. As AI becomes more advanced, what impact will it have on job security and income inequality? How can we prepare for the future? #AI #futureofwork

These topics aren’t too bad and can be used as thought starters at a minimum. They would likely engage your audience and create conversation.

But, how can you leverage this to be efficient?

Schedule the tweets to go at different times throughout the week to engage your audience!

Twitter’s scheduling feature coupled with AI’s ability to generate many small snippets of content can really save you time throughout the week coming up with topics.

A group of AI researchers from Google and the Technical University of Berlin unveiled PaLM-E, a multimodal embodied visual-language model (VLM) with 562 billion parameters that integrates vision and language for robotic control. They claim it is the largest VLM ever developed and that it can perform a variety of tasks without the need for retraining. Check out what this thing can do!

Reinforcement Learning is a type of Artificial Intelligence that learns how to do things by trying them out and getting rewards for doing well. It’s like a game where the AI tries to get the highest score possible by doing the right things. The more it plays, the better it gets.

The AI is like a student who is trying to learn new things. When it does something good, it gets a good grade and when it does something bad, it gets a bad grade. Over time, it learns from its mistakes and gets better and better at the task it was given.

For example, let’s say we want the AI to learn how to play a game. At first, it might not know anything about the game and will make a lot of mistakes. But as it plays more and more, it starts to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Eventually, it becomes really good at the game and can even beat human players.

Reinforcement Learning is used in many different places, like self-driving cars, robots, and even video games. It’s a really powerful tool that can help us solve all kinds of problems. But we have to be careful to make sure the AI is learning the right things and not doing anything that could be harmful.

So that’s Reinforcement Learning in a nutshell! It’s all about teaching AI to learn by doing, and rewarding it when it does well.

ai language models generating random ai art

Daily, we instruct the AI to generate a random prompt to give to the MidJourney AI image generator. The results are beautiful.

This week, we are focusing on using a filter called “infrared” which gives the images a really unique and dreamy feel.

Prompt: A hot air balloon festival: Photograph a hot air balloon festival from the air, with dozens of colorful balloons filling the sky. The infrared filter will make the balloons and sky look even more vibrant.
